This policy describes how the Alpha Sounds automation ("the app") uses data when interacting with the YouTube Data API, and confirms that this site collects nothing from its visitors.
The app uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to a single YouTube channel that its operator owns. It requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope, which allows it to upload videos to that one channel on the operator's behalf. No other scope is requested.
The app does not access, read, or store any data belonging to any YouTube user other than the operator's own channel. It does not collect, store, or share any personal information from website visitors, viewers of the uploaded videos, or any other third party.
This website itself does not use cookies, trackers, or analytics of any kind.
The stored OAuth credentials (client ID, client secret, and refresh token) are held privately by the operator and used solely to authorize automated video uploads to the operator's own channel. They are never shared with, or made accessible to, any other party.
Because no user data is collected, none is retained. OAuth credentials are kept only for as long as the automation remains active, and can be revoked at any time by the channel owner from their Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
This app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
